Yesterday we made a butterfly tree for the table. We cut out card paper butterflies, painted them, glued pennies on the underside of the wings to weight them, then balanced them on branch tips (thanks for the idea Melissa!). You can practically balance them on a pin! They also fall off with the slightest breeze but part of the fun is placing them back on :)
