We made these colour spinners today. They are a great illustration of how primary colours mix to form other colours. Unfortunately my camera is too slow to capture the real blended colour but you get the idea. If you want to make them you will need:
• 3 cd's or dvd's.
• circular paper to glue on top.
• a few lids to glue on the paper side.
• a few ping pong balls or marbles.
• white glue and a glue gun.
After the circles are traced out divide them each into six different quadrants and alternate the colours (2 on each).
White glue works well to glue the paper onto the cd, a glue gun is best for the handle on top and the ball spinner underneath. Once all the glue has dried (it only takes a few minutes), spin away!
